Seeking truth?

 

There surely has to be more to life than what meets the eye. We are complex beings living in a complex universe, where everything around us seems to follow a certain order—a design. We strive to survive, we live, we laugh, we learn, we build families, and we accumulate wealth, all in the name of creating a legacy. Yet, that legacy will someday be forgotten, along with the way we lived, laughed, and learned. For some, death comes like a thief in the night, snatching our souls in the blink of an eye. For others, there’s a moment of reckoning—a few days, weeks, or even months to process a diagnosis of death. But what does death really look like? Do the lights just go out? Like the 2011 movie *In Time* featuring Justin Timberlake, does our clock simply stop when our time is up, and that’s it? Some say death leads to a cycle of rebirth, bringing us back again. Others believe it is a transition from this life to a new, eternal one. Some even claim our spirits are pre-programmed to return to an implant station in outer space, where they are reinserted into a new body to reappear on Earth. Whatever the answer may be, one thing seems clear: there has to be something more to this life. Time is short, our lives fleeting in the blink of an eye.
